Sierra Leone
Sierra Leone joined the CQUIN learning network in September 2019 and has actively participated in all network activities. As of 2024, UNAIDS estimates that Sierra Leone has 77,000 [64,000-92,000] adults and children living with HIV, and an HIV prevalence of 1.3% in adults aged 15-49. An estimated 83% of people know their HIV status, and 83% of people who know their status are on treatment.
In 2025, Sierra Leone participated in CQUIN-supported HIV service prioritization assessments to support the sustainability of HIV programs amid a changing global funding landscape.
