Rwanda

Rwanda joined the CQUIN learning network in July 2020 and has actively participated in CQUIN meetings, webinars, country-to-country learning visits, communities of practice, and more.

As of 2024, UNAIDS estimates that Rwanda has 240,000 [220,000-270,000] adults and children living with HIV, and an HIV prevalence of 2.0% in adults aged 15-49 [2.6% in women and 1.4% in men]. An estimated 96% of people know their HIV status, 96% of people who know their status are on treatment, and 93% of those on treatment are virally suppressed.
