Kenya
Kenya joined the CQUIN learning network in 2016, bringing with it an existing national policy on differentiated service delivery (DSD) and a technical working group tasked with providing input and guidance on DSD implementation. Kenya has been an active member of the network since.
As of 2024, UNAIDS estimates that Kenya has 1,300,000 [1,200,000-1,500,000] adults and children living with HIV, and an HIV prevalence of 3.0% in adults aged 15-49 [4.1% in women and 2.0% in men]. An estimated 97% of people know their HIV status, 87% of people who know their status are on treatment, and 83% of those on treatment are virally suppressed.
