HIV Service Delivery Prioritization in Resource-Constrained Settings

Event Date: August 18, 2026 - 8:00am to 9:30am EDT

As HIV programs navigate changing funding landscapes and increasing pressure to maximize impact with limited resources, evidence-informed prioritization has become more important than ever.

Building on discussions from AIDS 2026, this webinar will bring together representatives from ministries of health, civil society, and technical partners to explore practical approaches to HIV program prioritization in resource-constrained settings. Speakers will share country experiences and discuss how decision-support tools such as TIER-Plus can help guide transparent, evidence-informed planning and resource allocation.

Objectives:

  • Explore approaches to HIV service delivery prioritization in the context of evolving funding landscapes and competing health priorities.
  • Learn from country experiences of prioritization, decision-making, and program optimization.
  • Examine how tools such as TIER-Plus can support evidence-informed planning and resource allocation.

The webinar is jointly organized by CQUIN at ICAP Columbia University, IAS – the International AIDS Society, and the South-to-South Learning Network (SSLN).
