Since CQUIN's inception, M&E of DSD has been a top priority for member countries. In March 2018, CQUIN's M&E community of practice rolled out the Differentiated M&E Framework, and ministries of health in at least six CQUIN countries have used it to guide the development of national tools and strategies for M&E of DSD.

In February, CQUIN launched an online DSD community of practice designed to support DSD coordinators. Part of CQUIN’s diverse portfolio of activities to accelerate DSD scale-up, the community consists of ministry of health staff and DSD coordinators from 10 countries, who meet twice a month to share ideas on planning activities, discuss solutions to common challenges, and exchange tools and resources.

Eswatini, Kenya, and Malawi Observe TASO’s Rights-Based Approach to DSD in Uganda

CQUIN recently supported teams from Eswatini, Kenya, and Malawi to visit Uganda on a joint south-to-south learning exchange hosted by the Uganda Ministry of Health National AIDS Control Program. From June 10-14, the teams visited The AIDS Support Organization (TASO), a pioneer in Uganda’s HIV/AIDS response. The exchange included three field visits to observe Community Drug Distribution Points (CDDP) and Community Client-Led ART Delivery (CCLAD) and facility based DSD models.
